Santa Claus Replaced by Mr. Kwanzaa, Others
NORTH POLE - The International Kwanzaa Consortium and Santa Claus have ended a gift distribution contract. Previously, Santa Claus filled the eight days after Christmas with Kwanzaa activities such as department store appearances and gift distribution activities. Now, a group of men from around the world will take over these activities.
Mr. Kwanzaa of the US, Senor Kwanzaa of Mexico, Kwanzaa san of Japan, Herr Kwanzaa of Germany and Abdul bin Kwanzaa of Arabia all will fulfill holiday related tasks in their respective territories. Mr. Claus states that this will allow him the post-Christmas relaxation he used to enjoy before signing the Kwanzaa contract.
Mr. Claus was replaced by this group of men to improve the quality of gift distribution. Because of the double duty of Christmas and Kwanzaa, Santa Claus would tire and sometimes make mistakes during the last days of Kwanzaa. A confusion among children over which celebration Santa represented was also a reason for the change. The Consortium wanted a clean break from Kwanzaa and believes the new men will bring more clarity to the Kwanzaa brand.
